Our Story

For as long as I can remember, I have adored movement. When I became pregnant with my first child 10  years ago, I decided it was time to stop being a "jack of all trades" and to pour my energy and passion into my true love - Pilates. That’s when I founded Forever Young Pilates.


​I count myself incredibly blessed to have my own studio and to work with the wonderful individuals who trust us with their health and fitness. I genuinely believe that through movement, we can all heal, grow, and become the best versions of ourselves.


​I have a deep interest in the mind-body-soul connection, and even if all someone takes from our classes is the space and time to breathe, I trust that they’ll receive that within the experience of Forever Young.


​Over the years, I’ve explored and taught many different movement modalities and continue to learn and grow in my practice. But at the heart of it all, I believe deeply in the transformative power of movement. I’ve witnessed people of all ages and abilities change before my eyes.


​Every day, I feel immense gratitude for all that is taught, learned, and shared within the Forever Young Pilates studio.

Meet the Team

Carol Nevin

I'm the founder of Forever Young Pilates, where I combine my passion for movement with a deep belief in its power to heal, transform, and connect. 


I first studied dance in college moving into sports and health studies and personal training. Through an injury I found pilates and from that moment I've embodied it.

Qualifying back in 2007 and continuing my education through massage physical therapy, pre and post natal, bone health, barre and many other courses since.


​After a career shift following the birth of my first child, I dedicated myself to opening Forever young and have never looked back. My work is rooted in the mind-body-soul connection, and I’m committed to helping people feel stronger, more present, and more in tune with themselves. 


​Movement has always been my way of processing life, and I’m grateful every day to share that with the wonderful community at my studio.

Eimear Hanlon

Eimear's approach to Pilates is rooted in empathy, education, and empowerment. With a strong foundation in Pilates principles and a passion for making movement accessible to every body, she creates a calm, welcoming space where you can tune into your body, move with intention, and feel truly at ease. Her classes blend breathwork, core strength, posture alignment, and controlled movement with a deep understanding of the mind-body connection. Whether you're deepening your practice or choosing to slow down. We move together, with a few laughs along the way!


Eimear's classes are full of encouragement, compassion, and a touch of joy. You'll leave feeling stronger, more confident and connected - not just physically, but mentally and emotionally.

Karen Whelan

I’ve worked in the fitness industry for 15 years. Over time, my passion naturally evolved from fitness alone into a deeper focus on health and wellness, as my love for mindfulness continued to grow.

 

In 2017, I qualified as a Pilates instructor, and it quickly became more than just movement for me. Pilates offered something I hadn’t found elsewhere - a space where my busy mind could finally settle while on the mat.

 

That sense of calm, connection, and strength is what truly deepened my love for the practice. Pilates has become a powerful tool not only for physical wellbeing, but for mental clarity also. I truly believe it is a gift, and I feel incredibly grateful that I get to share this practice with others as my work, helping people feel stronger, more grounded, and more connected to themselves.

 

My goal is always for students to leave their class feeling like they’ve achieved something - more grounded, more at ease, and connected to their bodies.

Janet Lynch

Janet is passionate about health, wellness and the transformative power of movement. Her classes are fun, inclusive and intentionally challenging, building your core strength, stability and flexibility in a space you can truly feel at ease.


Her ultimate goal? That you leave class feeling better than when you walked in - always with a smile!

Marcella Broderick

I have always loved sport and exercise, with a particular passion for running and resistance training. In 2011, after working in IT for 13 years and following the birth of my second child, I decided it was time for a career change.

​I first qualified as a personal trainer, and then gained my Pilates certification in 2013. I love all forms of training and have taught Couch to 5K, resistance training, Pilates, and barre.

 

I truly believe that fitness is for everyone.

I’m passionate about helping people improve their fitness levels and achieve their goals. I have experience working with clients of all ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels.
